The OSS Olympic Olympics Summer Picnic

Date: Saturday, July 19
Location: Chambers Bay Park, University Place (Lots of parking!) 6320 Grandview Dr. W, University Place, WA 98467
Directions: Once you turn into the main golf course entrance (by the restaurant), follow the road to your left all the way down to the bottom. We will have signs in various spots to help direct you to the event space.
Time: 10:30 am – 3:00 pm

For The Kids

Upon entry, all kids under 12 will receive a picnic gift bag, full of fun things. And below find out more about the “kid’s games.”

Early Arrival – Olympic Raffle

Be early! The first 50 employees, students or travelers to arrive will be entered in the Olympic Raffle. The prize is a $200 Gift Card to REI!

Food & Drink

We have a great picnic menu planned, including:

Beef Brisket, BBQ Chicken, Mac & Cheese (vegetarian), Coleslaw, Cornbread, Fruit Salad, and Assorted Beverages.

Dessert Contest

Possibly the best Olympic Event, the annual dessert competition!

In order to participate, you must register for the dessert competition. You will be asked if you are planning on participating in the dessert competition during the registration process.

All Employees, Travelers, Students and Guests are welcomed to participate! We will have a separate tent for all the dessert entries, next to the lunch buffet lines. All desserts must on site by 11:00 am. While everyone will share in the desserts after lunch, remember, there will be one winner as declared by our panel of Olympic judges

Want To Be A Dessert Competition Judge?

We need three! Simply send an email to Claude (cciancio@osstherapy.com) explaining your very special qualifications to serve in this prestigious role. All judge applications are due no later than Wednesday, July 2! As a judge you will be responsible for trying every entered dessert. Yes, everyone of them!. And you and the rest of the judges will determine the winner. The 3 judges will be named on July 3.

Get ready to bring the heat, the hype and the hilarity - because each office is now its own nation in the ultimate showdown of skill, spirit and style!

Representing your Country (Clinic)

Design your national/clinic flag, rally your Olympians (and their trusty handlers), and prepare to strut your stuff in our grand Opening Ceremonies Parade into the Olympic Stadium.

Let the Games Begin!

Your office will go head-to-head with others in a series of epic events to determine who reigns supreme. As the Games approach, we'll unveil each event and call for brave competitors from every nation!

Medal Ceremonies

Yes, after each event, we will award gold (5 points), silver (3 points) and bronze (1 point) medals to the top three finishers. (I know you are already dreaming of representing your nation on the podium.).

Once all the events are complete, we'll tally the scores and crown the Ultimate Office Olympians!

Tents, Tents & More Tents

We will have large tents with tables and chairs, a tent for the buffet and one more for the desserts. We encourage everyone to bring a pop up, if you have one. (They are not required.) We are asking everyone to set up their pop ups around the perimeter of the Olympic Field, creating stadium-like feel.

Kid’s Games

There will be a separate area for kid’s games – their own mini-Olympics. We will be awarding medals, ribbons and other prizes.
